My current diet doesn’t encourage eating fats from any sources. It’s quite drastic, but it works. This means I can’t have whole eggs, leaving just the plain, mundane yet protein rich egg white. By themselves they can be REALLY boring to eat, but add some chicken, ham or tuna and a handful of vegetables, you’ve got yourself the next best thing to an actual omelette. It makes the eggs whites go down a lot easier, and also means you don’t have to eat a dry can of tuna by itself either. The omelettes I’ve made in order of preference are:
- Ham and Mushroom
They are really quick and easy to make, and you’ve got yourself a high protein, low carb and low fat snack/meal (depending on how many egg whites you use) within a couple of minutes, and is ideal for anyone who’s looking to cut down on their fat intake!
